Rhian Brewster is in Liverpool’s Champions League squad to face Barcelona in the second leg of their semi final clash.
Barcelona are 3-0 up and rested Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets at the weekend, so they will be feeling fresh and confident they can progress through to the final.
Jurgen Klopp has decided to take a risk, with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah both set to miss out, by putting Brewster into his squad.
The 19-year-old is very highly rated at Melwood but he has spent the majority of the season sidelined with injury.
Injuries in recent years have held him back from breaking into the first team but he is back and ready to make his mark on this Liverpool side.
Brewster was the star of England’s Under-17 side which won the World Cup in 2017 scoring eight and taking the golden boot home with him.
What a dream it would be for him to get his first senior goal against Barcelona.
If Klopp decides to use him he certainly has the talent to trouble Barcelona.
