Ranieri has turned down an initial offer from the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) to become the national team head coach, according to Despite the refusal, the FIGC remains committed to convincing the 73-year-old to take over from Spalletti, who announced his imminent departure on Sunday. Pioli, though, is currently considering a three-year offer from Fiorentina for €3 million per season after parting ways with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.
