neither side in a position to win as time ran out.Maurice Aronstam and Johann Myburgh both completed hundreds as they put
on 173 for the second wicket allowing Northerns to declare on 262 for 4
and a lead of 267.Border were in no position to chase the target and played out for the
draw ending on 128 for four when the captains decided to call the match
off as a draw.
ScorecardGauteng completed an eight wicket win over Easterns at Willowmoore Park
in Benoni. Chasing a target of 109 Gauteng raced to victory in 22.2
overs with Blake Snijman scoring 63 not out in 70 balls.Earlier the Easterns batsmen struggled against the seam of Ryan
Groeneveld (3-25) and Nicholas Mataboge (3-24) with only Andre Seymore
(63) and Pierre de Bruyn (86) able to show any resistance as Easterns
were bowled out 217.

Michael Price again failed to get to the hundred as he tried to up the
Eastern province pace only to be stumped for 86.With both teams having a chance to win the scales tipped to both side as
the afternoon went on with Griquas falling 3 wickets short and Eastern
Province ending 37 runs short when time ran out.
