Antony has seen a sudden rise in his form since moving to Real Betis on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window. After playing a key role in the opening goal on his Betis debut, the Brazilian winger has scored three times and set up another in his subsequent three appearances for the Spanish club.

Antony's impressive performance for his new club in February has earned a nomination for La Liga Player of the Month award. He will compete with the likes of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona midfielder Pedri for the prize. Athletic Club's Oihan Sancet and Osasuna's Ante Budimir are also among the nominees.

In February, Mbappe appeared in three La Liga matches for Los Blancos where he scored two goals including the crucial equaliser against Atletico Madrid in the derby. Pedri too appeared in all of Barcelona's league games this month where he provided one assist and played a crucial role in the club reclaiming the top position on the points table.
